The Pacific Northwest was setting record high temperatures last week. What is a RVer to do when you can’t travel high enough or far enough to escape the heat? Back to the origins of camping. Ditch the RV, grab the tent, load the pack and head for a high mountain lake. While I enjoyed the scenery and the mountain goats that kept us company, I missed the bed in my RV and the refrigerator full of food! It reminds me of how fortunate we are to live in a free country and are able to enjoy the RV lifestyle! Don’t let this hot weather keep you from enjoying an adventure. Get out there!
