There is nothing to connect or disconnect with Roadmaster’s revolutionary new supplemental braking system for towed vehicles. InvisiBrake uses the electrical connections already in place to brake the towed vehicle when you brake your motorhome. The same electrical signal that activates the towed vehicle’s brake lights also activates InvisiBrake.
InvisiBrake is small enough that it can usually be mounted under the driver’s seat, under the rear seat, behind interior panels or in the trunk, without sacrificing the vehicle’s usable space.
When you apply braking force in the motorhome, InvisiBrake applies a progressively harder pressure to the towed vehicle’s brakes. The unit includes an LED monitor for a visual reference of braking activity. An audible alert will sound in the motorhome if the brakes have been on for too long.
InvisiBrake connects directly to the towed vehicle’s battery, and constantly charges the battery during towing. The manufacturer says the device can’t drain the battery.
The suggested retail price is $999.99. For more information, visit roadmasterinc.com.
