Geocaching is an adventure that goes beyond just the numbers. However, sometimes it’s important to stand back and look at what all those numbers mean. Geocaching just recently surpassed more than 2 million active geocaches worldwide. That’s 2 million on-demand adventures available around the world for active RVers, 2 million locations for you to discover during your travels, 2 million reasons to get out your RV and take a walk after dinner, 2 million reasons for youth to go outside and get some exercise, 2 million possibilities to learn something new or visit a historic site.
It truly is a family friendly hobby that can be enjoyed virtually anytime anywhere. Even the littlest in the family like finding treasure as this video demonstrates.
To see the placement of 2 million geocaches across the globe in an elapsed time of one minute, watch this fun video here.
By the way, the two millionth geocache was placed near Alice Springs located in the Northern Territory of Australia.
RVing down under, now that is an adventure in RVing for my bucket list!
