Nearly 900,000 acres of Wildlife Areas plus hundreds of water access sites are owned or managed by the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW). Beautiful forests, lakes, estuaries, mountains, prairies, rivers and canyons await your visit, as do the fish and wildlife species that live there. Many of these areas are open to overnight camping. For only $10.95 plus a $2.00 dealer fee you can purchase an annual vehicle access pass that provides unlimited access to WDFW lands. They are available at most sporting good stores or online at:
https://fishhunt.dfw.wa.gov/wdfw/vup.html For a list of places where the pass can be used, visit: http://wdfw.wa.gov/lands/
One of my favorite areas to camp is the Quincy Lakes area: http://wdfw.wa.gov/lands/wildlife_areas/columbia_basin/unit.php?searchby=unit&search=Quincy%20Lakes
