The Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission has teamed up with a private company, Wanderlust Camps, to provide luxury camping in tents at Moran State Park on Orcas Island. Instead of a sleeping bag, the “glamping” experience includes a queen-size bed and linen sheets.
The park, which also offers RV camping spaces, has two glamping sites that can accommodate two people and three sites that accommodate up to four. Costs for two people range from $119 to $219 per night before tax. For information, visit wanderlustcamps.com.
