The No-Freeze Water Hose is a heated hose that works at temperatures far below zero. In fact, it is guaranteed not to freeze at temperatures as low as –30 degrees.
Keith Morris invented the No-Freeze Water Hose about five years ago to help Colorado ranchers who were in the midst of an extremely cold winter and having trouble getting water from spigots to their livestock. RVers soon discovered the value of the hose, and began using it for their rigs.
The hose is heavily insulated, comes with forged brass fittings and is designed to be extremely durable. Buyers have the option of putting the electrical plug at either end. It is available in lengths from 15 to 50 feet at prices ranging from $250 to $525, but Morris also takes custom orders, and hoses can be combined for greater lengths.
Morris said the No-Freeze Water Hose is the only heated hose on the market that is fully insulated, and that the use of premium materials means that drinking water from the hose is entirely safe. Buyers have found many uses for the hose. It was used in Washington D. C. during the Presidential Inauguration last year, and is being used at a mushroom farm in Canada and at gas pipeline projects across the U.S.
The hose is available only through the manufacturer, in Columbus, Ohio. For information, visit nofreezewaterhose.com.
