California’s Bass Lake, which is located about 20 minutes outside the southern entrance to Yosemite National Park, is back to normal after a four-year construction project that required the water level to be lowered.
“The water is up, the lake is stocked with fish and we’re truly looking forward to an exciting spring and summer,” said Leslie Cox, president of the Bass Lake Chamber of Commerce. The resort has scheduled a series of special events, including a wooden boat show, May 17-19; a triathlon, June 1, and a car and boat show, June 2. For information, visit basslakechamber.com.
