Winnebago has given its new full-size luxury fifth-wheel, the Destination, residential interiors and the styling touches of a motorhome. The front cap integrates an aerodynamic design, including an air dam for increased wind deflection, and includes LED light strips. A unique optional rear cap has styling that reflects Winnebago’s motorhome heritage, and the taillights have a sports car look.
Slideouts that are six feet, nine inches tall add to the spaciousness of the interior, with a radius ceiling and extra tall windows adding to that open feeling. The entertainment center includes a 50-inch TV, and there is an optional fireplace. A quiet air system maximizes cooling with minimal noise.
The galley features hardwood cabinets, a 20-cubic-foot refrigerator in either black or stainless steel, a recessed range, and solid-surface countertops. A residential-size dishwasher is optional.
The master suite has a Flex Bed that can be raised to a comfortable angle to read or view television. A special feature of the bedroom is the magic mirror/TV design. The unit acts like a mirror when the TV is off, and frames the television picture when it is on. The bedroom also has a cedar-lined walk-in closet and an eight-door dresser.
The various versions of the Destination carry suggested retail prices ranging from $65,000 to $100,000.
