Thor Industries and Winnebago Industries have announced major changes in their executive ranks.
Johnny Hernandez, who has more than 36 years of experience in the RV industry, has been appointed president of Winnebago Industries Towables, replacing Elvie Frey. Winnebago said Frey left to pursue other interests. Frey founded SunnyBrook RV, which Winnebago purchased two years ago.
Hernandez, 56, spent 26 years with Fleetwood Enterprises in a variety of sales and product planning positions. Before joining Winnebago, he was national sales and product manager for Coachmen’s Brookstone fifth wheel trailers.
Thor Industries named Dominic Romeo as senior vice president and chief financial officer He was formerly vice president and chief financial officer of IDEX Corporation, a $2 billion diversified international manufacturer. He also held a similar position at Honeywell Aerospace.
Colleen Zuhl, who had served as Thor’s interim chief financial officer, was promoted to vice president and corporate controller.
