It’s not too early to start planning your spring and summer vacations, especially for popular destinations like Fox Hill RV Park and Campground, located just south of Wisconsin Dells, which is considered the water park capital of the world. Adding to the enjoyment of this 50-acre wooded park is the recent addition of the nine-hole Fairfield Hills Golf Course and Range.
The 1,900-yard, par 30 course features three par 4 holes and six par 3 holes. You can use every club in your bag as hole length stretches from 123 yards to 320 yards. This is a very family-oriented course that takes less than two hours to play. If you just want to hone your skills a little, there is a range that offers 34 practice stations. Fairfield Hills also features a golf shop, offers rental clubs, and a snack bar.
The venerable Fox Hill RV Park and Campground, which has been serving the public for more than four decades, features 137 sites, many which are pull-throughs. Resort amenities are endless, making this one of the most popular destinations in the greater Wisconsin Dells area. Visitors can enjoy free Wi-Fi, along with 30- and 50-amp hook ups, water, and sewer; pets are also welcome. Other amenities include a large heated swimming pool, game room, showers, laundry facilities, a disc golf course, miles of nature trails, giant chess and checkers, and more.
In addition to tent camping options, Fox Hill RV Park and Campground features 13 deluxe cabins and six basic cabins for rent. Each two-room deluxe cabin sleeps up to six people, with amenities including bunk beds, kitchenette, BBQ grill, A/C and heater, and more.
Another advantage of staying at Fox Hill is its location. It`s halfway between the towns of Baraboo and Wisconsin Dells. Known as the “water park capital of the world, Wisconsin Dells features four exhilarating water parks including Noah’s Ark Waterpark, Mt. Olympus Water & Theme Park, Kalahari Resort Waterparks, and Chula Vista Resort Waterparks. Wisconsin Dells, however, offers much more than water-themed entertainment. The area also includes other amusement parks and rides, animal-related attractions, several golf courses, live entertainment, museums, and scenic tours. The nearby Ho-Chunk Casino is available by jumping on the free shuttle from Fox Hill RV Park.
There are lots to see and do in Wisconsin Dells, which is just 60 miles north of the state capital of Madison.
