A caravan of classic cars will travel from Yosemite to Morro Bay in October to mark the 150th anniversary of the Yosemite Grant and founding of California State Parks, and the 50th anniversary of cityhood for Morro Bay.
Drivers will gather Wednes-day, Oct. 22, at Oakhurst, the southern gateway to Yosemite, for a barbecue. On the following day, participants will cruise through Yosemite, travel south on Highway 41, stop for lunch at the Jack Ranch Café in Cholame, and then continue to Morro Bay to complete the Summit to the Sea event. The caravan will be limited to 150 cars. Classic car owners may register at fromthesummittothesea.com.
