Fleetwood RV is celebrating the 30th anniversary of its Bounder motorhome with a redesigned 2016 model that incorporates a host of changes and new features.
Matt Buckman, Fleetwood’s director of Class A gas motorhomes, said the new design is intended to “enhance the vehicle’s appearance, comfort and value.” He added, “There are more Bounders on the road than any other motorhome in its price segment, and we expect the Bounder to continue to be an industry leader.”
The cockpit of the bounder has been upgraded with an ergonomic dash and integrated camera and audio/visual monitors. The co-pilot has a new workstation, and there is a large center console storage drawer.
On the exterior, the pass-through storage bays have been enlarged, and an aluminum side-swing luggage door locking system has been added. The exterior graphics are new, and so are the front and rear cap designs with integrated LED lights. The capacity of the fresh water holding tank has been raised to 100 gallons. Among the new options is an overhead power Hide-a-Loft bed.
Fleetwood builds the Bounder on its third generation Power Platform chassis with a Ford 6.8L Triton V10 engine with 362 horsepower.
The Bounder is available in five floor plans ranging in length from 34 feet to more than 37 feet. Suggested retail prices start at $135,905. For information, visit fleetwoodrv.com/bounder.
